Mechanical Project Manager / Mechanical Contract Manager
A Mechanical Building Services Company based in St. Albans requires an experienced Mechanical Project Manager / Mechanical Contract Manager to administer projects from estimating to final invoice payments.
The Mechanical Project Manager / Mechanical Contract Manager would be office based but site attendances would be necessary to oversee their works and sub-contract installations.
The Mechanical Project Manager / Mechanical Contract Manager would need at least 5 – 10 years experience in a similar Building Services Environment. We operate as a specialist sub-contractor installing Mechanical / HVAC within the building services industry, specifically in the fast track environment.
The applicant must have previous experience, a full understanding and knowledge of all building services and be self-motivated. The main duties will include the running and day to day control of multiple projects, from ordering materials, organising and programming of sub-contractors and direct employed operatives
The candidate will manage projects once the order has been received and would be responsible for attending meetings, interim valuations, the pricing of variations, cost control to deliver within budget and for submitting final accounts.
The successful candidate would report directly to the senior Contracts Manager and the Directors
The package will include pension, car and up to £55,000 in salary to the right person depending on experience.
