Are you an experienced Managed Security Services lead, or maybe you are a Managed Services specialist looking to make a move into the Cyber space? We have an exciting opportunity available with one of our leading IT Security Management clients based out of their HQ in Central London who have seen a fantastic amount of growth over the last few years.

As the Head of Managed Security Services you will be responsible for delivering first class managed security services to customers as well as driving team performance internally.

Key Role:

  • You’ll lead a seamless 24 hour, 365 day Operations Centre ensuring high availability and reliability of services
  • You’ll oversee 24 hour, 365 day monitoring, reporting and response to incidents
  • You’ll be responsible for successful service delivery including SLA achievement and an excellent level of customer satisfaction
  • You’ll create and manage alert systems for safeguarding the commercial viability of each project by flagging up areas where resources are incorrectly allocated or SLAs are not being met
  • You’ll promote commercial awareness within the service delivery team and equip them to be able to identify commercial opportunities with their customers
  • You’ll be responsible for overseeing the management and development of the team members to high performance standards
  • Lead the team of technical staff and ensure the right people structure and processes are in place to set the team up for success
  • You’ll pro-actively manage relationships and exceed expectations with key clients

Key Experience

    • You have a history of managing engaged and high-performing teams and using coaching and feedback to get results
    • You have experience of running teams (+20 people)
    • You have an understanding of ITIL, and being an ITIL practitioner would be highly desirable
    • You’re commercially savvy and have experience of managing budgets and costs
    • You’ve owned and delivered performance improvement programs which have had an impact on the KPIs
    • Knowledge of ticketing systems, and specifically Service NOW, is advantageous
    • You have strong analytical skills and methodically analyse incidents to produce a positive solution
    • You can work in a high-pressure environment and can make decisions with limited information available
    • Experience of managing a Managed Security Service is highly desirable but will consider candidates with a strong Managed Service background in the technical arena
