Role: Strategic Account Manager (Emphasis on ability to lead/manage a team)
Contract Length: 6 months

Pay Rate to Candidate: £460 Umbrella rate

The client is looking for an experienced Account Manager who can lead/manage a team, with an emphasis on training/coaching and knowledge sharing. Essentially they have asked for candidates who have experience in Strategic Account Management
Clear track record of strategic account management in B2B – highly results driven.
Senior/ C suite level strategic account and stakeholder management experience

Coaching experience (with demonstrable) results
Experience in positive knowledge sharing & developing teams

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
B2B Strategic account management
Leading and managing a team and coaching for success
Objectives / deliverables
Deliver business objectives working with & through existing team
Lead team and develop core capability in strategic account management
Ensure efficient and effective process to support objectives delivery eg account planning, insight gathering and quantification for business case
Coach existing team lead
Be head of profession within the organisation – developing corporate capability where appropriate
Contractor Deliverables – will be in place for 6 months
A) Deliver 19/20 account management business objectives & plan for 20/21 with and through current team manager
B) Improve current account management business process to improve effectiveness & efficiency
D) Coach team manager and to develop the team so that they are ready to undertake AKAM foundation level in 20/21 (and all of the above)
C) Act as Head of Profession across the company and coach team manager) & role model Head of Account Management

Person Spec
Member of Institute of Customer Service or similar membership body e.g CIM, AKAM
* Significant experience of strategic account management with tangible, demonstrable results
* Experience of upskilling, training and coaching teams and demonstratable improvement
* * Ability to set up new processes within new team and be highly effective quickly
Evidence of influencing and relationship building at a senior level which has delivered change
* An advocate for the customer at all times and able to influence decision making across the organisation to take the customer into account, particularly during transformation change activity
* Able to capture customer insight and effectively analyse and communicate key findings to strategic stakeholders in the organisation to inform changes to process, policy, systems and behaviours
* Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to build positive and successful strategic relationships
* Ability to manage conflict / sensitive issues to deliver positive results
