A well-established Building Services contractor are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team on a large residential shell and core project in East London. Shortly underway, the package is valued at over £20M and is one of the current larger projects for the business.

The Electrical Project Manager

Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead daily site activity ensuring the project is delivered to expectation. Duties will include short term programming, site logistics, managing engineers and subcontractors, ordering materials and procurement, providing technical advice and keeping a close eye on project spend to ensure profitability. You will also be confident to chair regular meetings with staff and clients, be confident to motivate your team and regularly communicate progress to senior management.

Experience and Qualifications

At least 3 years as project lead

A background in large residential projects essential (shell and core experience)

Relevant electrical qualifications (HNC, HND or Degree advantageous, but not essential)

Relevant site qualifications including SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS

Natural leadership and communication skills

Remuneration

The successful candidate can expect to receive an annual salary of up to £70,000 p.a. depending on experience with a travel package, a contributory pension, private healthcare and a discretionary bonus.
