The Electrical Project Manager
Reporting directly to the Contracts Director, you will take the lead ensuring projects are delivered to expectations. This will be a mobile role split between the various projects, office in Kent and potentially some of the time working from home. Duties will include short term programming, site logistics, supervising and managing engineers and subcontractors, ordering materials, providing technical advice and keeping a close eye on project spend to ensure profitability.
Established for over 30 years, they are an expanding building services contractor in Mechanical and Electrical services working across the UK with a number of leading Main Contractors. With a turnover of over £30 million and growing steadily, they have an excellent reputation and continue to win repeat business from clients with whom they have strong relationships. With plans in place to continue progressing sensibly, there will be medium term opportunities to progress your career as part of a friendly and focused team.
Experience and Qualifications
At least 3 years supervising mechanical projects
A background in commercial or retail projects – fast track or multiple projects advantageous
Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ, HNC, HND or Degree advantageous, but not essential)
Relevant site qualifications including SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS
Natural leadership and communication skills
The successful candidate can expect to receive an annual salary of up to £55,000 p.a. depending on experience with travel expenses, a 3% contributory pension, 22 days annual leave and a discretionary bonus.
