Electrical Project Manager
A well-established, privately owned office fit out and electrical contractor are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the team. Working closely with the interiors team, they want someone confident to deliver projects with a real ‘wow’ factor.
The Electrical Project Manager
Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, you will take the lead ensuring electrical services within projects are delivered to expectations. This will be a mobile role split between projects in both London and the North Home Counties, with regular attendance required at the company’s office in Milton Keynes. Projects values will range from £10,000 to £1M.
Duties will include short term programming, site logistics, supervising and managing engineers and subcontractors, ordering materials, providing technical advice and keeping a close eye on project spend to ensure profitability. You will also produce RAMS, assist in estimating works, produce regular update reports,
The role will also be client facing, so you must also be professionally presented and confident to communicate across all levels.
However, with a large back office team covering both commercial and pre-construction and established Site Supervisors, you will have a lot of support to enable you to focus on your role.

Experience and Qualifications
A proven track record in a similar role (must be able to provide evidence)
A background in commercial fit out projects – fast track or multiple project experience advantageous
Relevant electrical qualifications – Qualified to minimum of JIB level. Higher education (HNC/HND etc) advantageous
Relevant site qualifications including SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS
Natural leadership and communication skills
Competent in use of IT systems and office software
The successful candidate can expect to receive an annual salary of up to £55,000 p.a. depending on experience with a company car allowance, mileage expenses, a contributory pension, 28 days annual leave (including bank holiday and xmas shutdown) and a discretionary bonus. Long term, there will be progression opportunities in the team as the company grows, or opportunities coming up in other departments.
