***Urgently seeking a Pre -Opening HR/People Manager for a exclusive resort in the Caribbean***
It is essential that this person has experience in the luxury hospitality industry, coming from a 5* environment with a proven track record. Due to the nature of the resort, this role would suit a HR Manager with pre-opening experience within a similar environment. The successful candidate will the working on one of the Caribbean’s most luxurious islands, and will work closely with the executive team to deliver good practice to employees, enhance the employer brand and manage the implementation of staffing for the pre-opening/openings phase by phase.
The successful HR Manger will have obtained a recognised qualification within HR, i.e- degree or professional certification from CIPD/SHRM. It is essential that the successful HR Manager has excellent written and verbal English along with being able to problem solver, confident people connector and has the ability to influence decisions.
The successful HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, and developing a recruitment strategy, develop and implement a positive working environment ensuring all employees are engaged and develop through various initiatives. Working and coaching the HoD’s on people management practices ensuring all processes are carried out in line with company policies and procedures. Working alongside the executive team you will be involved in the design, development and implementation of key training activities required to meet and maintain the performance and standards in view of opening.
