A tier 1 M&E Contractor are looking to bring on an M&E Senior Contracts Manager who will be 2nd in charge of running the Southern Division.

Control the overall operational delivery across arrange of projects/customers, ensuring that profitability is maintained or improved through effective leadership, high quality customer service and co-ordination of relevant functions, e.g. planning, commercial, technical and safety etc.

Details:

H&S – Provide the appropriate Health and Safety leadership to ensure that the safety first and foremost message is visible and alive throughout all activities relating to the projects under his leadership

Bid Activity – Participate within bid activity; in conjunction with the Business Development department and in line with Focus Win processes; to ensure professional, profitable, successful bids are conducted which provide agreed levels of turnover and profit for the area

Team Leadership – Provide leadership for each of the project delivery teams within their area of control in line with company standards and values working to maximise the potential of the team and the individuals within them

Compliance – Ensures that all operational activities are carried out in compliance with internal regulations and external legislation governing business operations

Input to business planning and budgeting – Provide input in the preparation of business plans and budgets based on the initial contract parameters and objectives, maintaining overall control for successful budgeting against agreed plans to maximise profit

Monthly Reviews – Complete all monthly reviews in line with the business procedures to ensure that the Operations Director has full knowledge of the completion and financial status of the project

Completion of Projects – Manage the successful completion of all projects in line with agreed quality and commercial plans to achieve targets within agreed timescales and cost constraints

Relationships with Customers – Maintaining positive relationships with key customers through efficient delivery of projects with a view to optimising future opportunities within specific sectors

Technical – Ensuring design and installation meets internal and client specification and statutory requirements

Essential criteria:

Previous experience in a similar role

Degree level qualification or equivalent (Desirable)

MBA (Desirable)
