A very well-known Mechanical Contractor is looking for a Mechanical Project Director as they are expanding their operations even further.

The Mechanical Project Director role

In this role you will be overseeing all projects, giving guidance and support to the contracts managers, ensuring they have the resources available, overseeing project performance on site and financial performance.

You will also be ensuring the Operations Director is updated with project updates, meeting monthly with the Directors in the Project Review meeting with OM, MD and QS prior to the Office Meeting and setting and having project progress update meetings with the Contracts Managers, Technical Manager, QS and Buyer to ensure ALL on track.

Required Experience

Major Plant – Organise and LEAD process with Buyers, Technical and QS

2 weeks qualifying quotes and better buying

2weeks Tech subs and technical review/sign off

2 weeks to place best project/spec compliant orders

• Energy Centre Install labour
• AOV
• Car Park Ventilation
• Sprinklers
• Wet / Dry Risers
• BMS / Controls
• Water Treatment
• Commissioning
• Under Floor Heating
• Insulation / Trace Heating
• Leak Detection
• Flues (to Manufacturer’s Instructions)
• Sanitaryware – This is to be scheduled and sorted by Buyers

Remuneration

The role is providing a day rate of up to £400 per day depending on experience
