A well-renowned M&E installation and maintenance contractor are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to take the lead on multiple projects in the Cambridgeshire area. Covering a range of projects and sectors, this role will suit someone who has a varied background or is pragmatic to take on new challenges.

The Mechanical Project Manager Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager, you will provide leadership on projects up to £2m from inception to completion. You will take the lead on organising day-to-day site activity, short term programming, health and safety management and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.

Operating regionally, they ensure the best possible setup to provide the tools and access for their staff to perform to their best. With the company increasing in strength in the area, they are continuing to secure projects with regular clients, they can offer a stable run of work as well as opportunities to prove yourself for more senior roles in the medium term.

Experience and Qualifications

SMSTS

First Aid at Work

CSCS (Manager)

Advantageous – Relevant HNC/HND or degree qualification

At least four years’ as project lead – Advantageous to have multiple sector project experience

Remuneration

The successful candidate can expect to receive an annual salary of up to £60,000 p.a. depending on experience plus a company car, private medical and 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days with time served). With the size and scope of the company, there will also definitely be opportunities for further training and career growth.
