The Mechanical Project Manager
Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will take the lead ensuring the project is delivered to expectations. Duties will include short term programming, site logistics, managing engineers and subcontractors, ordering materials and logistics, providing technical advice and keeping a close eye on project spend to ensure profitability. As Mechanical Project Manager, you will also play a keen role in developing and maintaining relations with the client.
Established for almost 20 years, they are an expanding Building Services contractor with a strong presence in London and across the UK. Having had another successful year, they are enjoying a number of new project wins, with projects across the commercial, residential, retail and mission critical sectors. With plans in place to continue progressing sensibly, there will be medium term opportunities to progress your career as part of a friendly and focused team.
Experience and Qualifications
At least 3 years as project lead on Building Services/Mechanical projects
A background in residential projects is essential
Relevant mechanical qualifications (HNC, HND or Degree advantageous, but not essential)
Relevant site qualifications including SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS
Natural leadership and communication skills
The successful candidate can expect to receive an annual salary of up to £65,000 p.a. depending on experience with travel fully expensed, a contributory pension, 20 days annual leave and a discretionary bonus.
