A well-established Building Services contractor are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take the operational lead on a large high-rise residential scheme in Central London. This project, for a recognised residential developer, consists of both mechanical and electrical packages for a 22-storey tower.

A well-established Building Services contractor are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take the operational lead on a large high-rise residential scheme in Central London. This project, for a recognised residential developer, consists of both mechanical and electrical packages for a 22-storey tower.

The Mechanical Project Manager

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will take the mechanical lead ensuring this project is delivered to expectations. Duties will include short term programming, site logistics, managing engineers and subcontractors, ordering materials and logistics, providing technical advice and keeping a close eye on project spend to ensure profitability. There will also be a key focus on both coordinating packages with your electrical counterpart, and together managing strong relations with the client.

Experience and Qualifications

At least 2 years as mechanical project lead

A background in residential and high-rise projects

Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ, HNC, HND or Degree advantageous, but not essential)

Relevant site qualifications including SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS

Natural leadership and communication skills

Remuneration

The successful candidate can expect to receive an annual salary of up to £70,000 p.a. depending on experience with travel fully expensed, a 3% contributory pension, 25 days annual leave, health and dental care and a company phone and laptop.
