They work heavily with major financial institutions installing full mechanical packages for both high street banks and offices or trading floors.

A well-established Building Services contractor are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take the operational lead on various commercial fitout projects in London. They work heavily with major financial institutions installing full mechanical packages for both high street banks and offices or trading floors.

The Mechanical Project Manager

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will take the lead ensuring projects are delivered to expectations. Duties will include short term programming, site logistics, managing engineers and subcontractors, ordering materials and logistics, providing technical advice and keeping a close eye on project spend to ensure profitability.

Experience and Qualifications

At least 3 years as project lead

A background in commercial fitout projects advantageous

Relevant mechanical qualifications (HNC, HND or Degree advantageous, but not essential)

Relevant site qualifications including SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS

Natural leadership and communication skills

Remuneration

The successful candidate can expect to receive an annual salary of up to £70,000 p.a. depending on experience with travel fully expensed, a 3% contributory pension, 25 days annual leave, health and dental care and a company phone and laptop.
