Mechanical Project Manager
A leading name in M&E contracting are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their division that operates directly with end-user clients, effectively operating as principal contractor. They undertake multiple technically challenging, fast-track projects across the data centre, pharmaceutical and commercial sectors – Be this for government bodies, or for recognised blue chip clients.
The Mechanical Project Manager
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will take the lead ensuring projects are delivered to expectation. Duties will include short term programming, site logistics, supervising and managing supervisors/engineers/subcontractors, ordering materials and keeping a close eye on project spend to ensure profitability (variations, cost tracking etc). You will also have oversight on project reporting, be confident to chair design team/client meetings and ensure strict health and safety standards are maintained.
Ultimately, you will have full oversight on installation of the full spectrum of mechanical services, so will need to have a strong technical background to overcome issues as they arise. You will be confident to deliver projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
Ideally, you will also have a strong working knowledge of electrical services.

They work across a range of sectors with leading main contractors, but this division of the business focuses on working with clients directly. Experience and Qualifications
Technical mindset with track record of managing multiple mechanical projects concurrently
Confident leadership and communication skills – Comfortable handling multiple clients
Ideally 5+ years in a project management position
Relevant industry qualifications advantageous – Degree/HNC or similar, 18th edition etc.
London-based or commutable to London
The successful candidate can expect to receive an annual salary of up to £70,000 p.a. depending on experience with a travel package, contributory pension, 25 days annual leave and a discretionary bonus.
