One of the UK’s leading lights in M&E contracting is currently seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager for a brand-new project in North West London. This is a newly secured healthcare design and build project with £10m M and E value.
The Senior Mechanical Project Manager
The Senior Mechanical Project Manager will be site-based ensuring the project is delivered to expectations; meeting goals for programme, quality, safety and profit. You play a pivotal role in seeing the project through from late procurement through to handover working closely with another Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and internal Design team. This will be achieved through effective sub-contractor management, a collaborative approach to cost management, a thoughtful approach to logistics and strong motivation.

Experience and Qualifications
Proven track record in a smiliar role
Previous experience in healthcare projects advantageous – I.e. Laboratories, hospitals, clean rooms
Strong working knowledge particularly of pipework and ductwork
VRF, Fume Extract, Syphonic RWP, Controls/BMS experience advantageous
Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ, HNC, HND or Degree advantageous, but not essential)
Relevant site qualifications including SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS
Strong IT skills to work across multiple software packages – They now work paperless for the majority so will be a lot of time spent on Laptops/tablet computers
Natural leadership and communication skills
Based ideally within an hours’ commute from
The successful candidate can expect to receive an annual salary of up to £75,000 p.a. depending on experience with travel expenses, a discretionary bonus, a contributory pension and other perks. This project is due to last for the next 18 months.
