The National FM Manager
Reporting to the Managing Directors, you will take the lead on both winning new business and servicing clients facilities maintenance accounts. With a team of engineers and coordinators in place, you will be tasked with growing the turnover of the division through networking, and following up on leads. You will ultimately have full P&L accountability for the department encompassing commercial responsibilities (tendering, account delivery, aftercare etc.), staffing and recruitment, developing new business, staff management and sales management.
With their head office based on the South London/Kent border, they would expect someone in the office 1-2 days a week, with the remaining time spent working on a mobile basis as required.
Established for over 25 years, they are an expanding contractor in Mechanical and Electrical services working across the UK with a number of leading Main Contractors. With a turnover of over £25 million and growing steadily, they have an excellent reputation and continue to win repeat business from clients with whom they have strong relationships. With around 60 direct staff, the company have the opportunity to continue to expand steadily and are enjoying a very busy order book. Offices are based on the South London/Kent border, with a number of mobile Project Managers from the South Coast through to the South Midlands.
Ideally, you will have experience in a similar position within the FM facilities maintenance industry
Strong leadership skills and decision making
Engaging communicator with a track record of securing and retaining
Keen forward planner with ability to effectively manage own and others time
Possess a customer/client-focused attitude to work
Solid technical understanding of both mechanical and electrical services
The successful National FM Manager can expect to receive a salary of up to £60,000 p.a. with a company car allowance, paid mileage, a contributory pension, 25 days annual leave (including three days for Christmas shutdown), a company phone and laptop, and a discretionary bonus.
Long term, if you are able to successfully develop the department the company are willing to invest in the right person and would anticipate someone stepping up to a Director role and gaining an equity share of the business.
