A recognised Building Services contractor based in The City of London are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to take the lead on a mid-large project in within the M25. This will be a multi-million project and commercial fast-track fit out.

The Senior Mechanical Project Manager

Reporting to the Mechanical Director, you will take the lead ensuring projects are delivered to expectations. Duties will include site programming, site logistics, managing engineers and subcontractors, ordering materials and procurement, providing technical advice and keeping a close eye on project spend to ensure profitability.

With plenty of support from both their in-house design and commercial teams, the role is truly focused on delivering the best possible quality project whilst retaining excellent client relationships with a view to secure repeat business.

With a number of project wins, the company are an expanding Building Services contractor with a strong presence in The City and the South East. They have an excellent reputation for their tailored approach and have developed a number of strong relationships with clients who bring repeat business. With plans in place to continue progressing sensibly, there will be medium term opportunities to progress your career as part of a friendly and focused team within a company that already turnover in excess of £50M per annum.

Experience and Qualifications

At least 3 years as project lead

A proven track record in commercial fitout projects essential – Ideally a minimum of £3M

Relevant mechanical qualifications – *QUALIFIED TO A MINIMUM OF HNC*

Relevant site qualifications including SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS

Natural leadership and communication skills

Remuneration

The successful candidate can expect to receive an annual salary of up to £75,000 p.a. depending on experience with travel allowance, a contributory pension, private healthcare and an enviable bonus scheme.
