The Pre-Sales SMB (1-250 employees) Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for actively driving and managing the pre sales process with direct and channel customers. The TAM must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. The TAM must be able to identify all technical and business issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. The successful candidate must also be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Work with partners to Identify and develop potential new business opportunities and delivery
Convey partner requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams
Support partners in responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
Respond to partners questions on technical and business related issues
Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations
Train all partner support and sales staff to an agreed level so that they become self sufficient
Responsible for supporting partner events and present the company value
Reporting through Company’s CRM – Salesforce
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of security compliance / monitoring systems and business process management technologies
- Strong presentation skills
- Communicate professionally in response to emails, RFPs and when submitting reports
- Organised and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
Experience in channel/partner market
- Able to travel throughout sales territory
